Terms and conditions

  • It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain and carry a valid passport and other travelling documents including visas, permits, vaccination certificates, travel insurance etc. Qatar Airways Holidays will not be liable for any inconvenience, expense, loss or damage of any kind if incurred by the customer due to the failure of obtaining or producing such documents.

 

GCC nationals and GCC residents’ entry to Doha

Based on the instructions issued by the Ministry of Interior, as of 06 December 2022, the following groups are allowed to enter the country without the requirement to obtain a Hayya Entry permit and according to the conditions below: 

1.       Citizens of the GCC countries with a valid passport or identity card (without stipulating a specific period for the validity of the document).

2.       Residents of the GCC countries, according to the professions previously agreed upon, with a number of (201) professions, in addition to the profession of (partner)and his family, and servants under his personal sponsorship, according to the previous applicable conditions:

a.       The resident’s profession must be one of the approved professions, according to the attached list.

b.       Valid passport for at least 6 months.

c.       Valid residence permit of not less than 6 months.

d.       Confirmed tourist hotel reservation in one of the country's hotels during the visit period.

e.       Round trip ticket.

f.        It is granted for a month upon entry, for a fee of 100 riyals, to be paid by credit card.

g.       The amount of the fine resulting from a violation of the stay period (200 riyals).

3.       Residents of the GCC countries for nationalities (Yemen - Iraq - Syria - Somalia - Egypt - Afghanistan - Libya - Palestine - Ukraine - Thailand - Mali - Iran - India - Pakistan - Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Tajikistan - Kyrgyzstan) according to the specified professions (number 54 profession).

a.       The resident’s profession must be one of the approved professions, according to the list provided by Ministry of Interior. For more information please visit the Ministry of Interior website.

b.       Valid passport for at least 6 months.

c.       Valid residence permit of not less than 6 months.

d.       Confirmed tourist hotel reservation in one of the country's hotels during the visit period.

e.       Round trip ticket.

f.        It is granted for a month upon entry, for a fee of 100 riyals, to be paid by credit card.

g.       The amount of the fine resulting from a violation of the stay period (200 riyals).

4.       Persons accompanying citizens of the GCC countries, including servants and the like, or accompanied by a member of the sponsor's family (of the first degree), according to the aforementioned conditions.

5.       Travelers must be arriving from country of residence (for GCC residence).
